Holster was bursting. A rare event due to his sporadic circumstances. Nomadic mutt had been thinning in the sides causing muscle to bulge awkwardly. Elongated limbs trot upon the surface with a nonchalant air. Not a hint of fat was implanted inside of Hol's figure. Bulk was primary thick with filth and solid flesh. Poor excuse for a coat was still muddled in unidentified objects. It was hard to tell what hue belonged to the outcast and what was just crusted on. Wasn't he just the most attractive being? The way the wind wrestled through hardened strands...or tried to move- OKAY, the wind could do dick all to his fur. He was a ball of disgust and that was to put it nicely. It wasn't just the sight that was offensive. It was also the smell was what usually came out to play first. His stench caused crime to any with a sensitive nose. OH WELL. There was no way in hell he would wash off his perfume of maggot, his sour scent of fish. Nah! He liked it the way things were. Gleefully. Holster was prancing around. Recently, he had re-peed on the 'queenie's' territory. After the rundown with Vagwolf he was certain his death was soon to come!! ALAS nothing. Oh well. Mutt dropped onto the ground obnoxiously and lay in the emerald blades; buried by their beauty. He inhaled deeply- and snorted a booger in his way. SO BORED. He had finally eaten and now what was the point to life... no point. NO POINT!
Aisline. Judging by the warmth the flowed along her fur, warming her skin until she was a toasty marshmallow, it was now day time. Truthfully it was about all she had to go on when it came to time of day. Nose twitched in a moment of delicate sensing, allowing the blind female to crawl her way towards the nearest source of water. A few tonguefulls and she was close to satisfied, brave enough to move from her belly to a shaky legged stand. Head swung to and fro, keeping low to make soft splashes on the water. She was hungry. And it didn't smell like the carcass from last night had remained here. Stupid scavangers. Stealing her stolen food! Tongue moved out, licking along her lips before nose once more began a rapid fire twitching of scent. She needed to eat. And so long as she could smell her way back to the water's edge.. she should be fine right? One paw moved infront of the other, hesitant to its surroundings. Hard to believe it was less than a week ago when she'd been trottingabout like she owned the world! Granted that was.. well she didn't know how far the water had swept her down stream, but she certainly missed her previous perch. She'd had many a trail known by scent alone. Who had needed sight? Certainly not her! And yet now she craved it. A chuff of annoyance split different coloured lips while head moved its way to the ground, sniffing and whiffin. Whew! Well something was certainly rotting near her. The idea of eating a maggot covered.. who knew what made her stomach turn but.. well food was food wasnt it? Ais kept her head low, using it as a guard against rocks or stumps or what have you while nose continued its epic quest. Go nose go!
Holster. If it wasn't for his godsend (that gorgeous fluff of cream and silk)! Holster might have continued to wane away and float away to the gates of heaven! He would dissipate into particles and return to god's womb! Not that anyone would mind such an event, to be fair, he was also sure god didn't want a malodourous corpse, but none of that even mattered! NO SIR. Because, God had given him an angel and a beauty at that. NO TAKE BACKS. It was his gift and no one was to take it away, especially the queens used vagina. That WHORE. How dare she make his lil' bae sob. Anger slowly began to burn his insides- it crept easily through his cortex but was quickly replaced by his 'switch'. Imagining those jade-like eyes had him smitten! The cuteypatooey had fed him and saved him from the vile depths of mud (one inch high).Just the thought had a grin placed on his lips and all was well again. The wind continued to carry his odor throughout the woodland and with his rotten scent, it was quite possible for him to be mistaken as a corpse himself. Either Holster didn't know he smelt so bad or he didn't care. It could have went both ways. Movement caused large tips to tweak. Blackened eyes scanned the ground and there- he would see something slithering closer to him. WAT? Confused and amused he waited until whatever lay ahead to meet him. Slowly. He decided to slow his breathing and movement- as if he were really dead! OHBOYOHBOY! Believe it or not this wasn't the first time he had faked his death. He was sure the animal would make a good time. It was entertainment!
Aisline. The female was making no progress very slowly. Honestly. It was hard to get out of bed to the bathroom at night when you can't see squat, imagine trying to do it in a forest! Or.. well this wasn't a forest but you get the point. Go outside and try to get from your bed to the toliet in pitch black and you see how fast you fell on your face! Seeing as the she wolf was in no mood for face planting.. well easy goes it. Nose was twitching over and over as she swept her head from side to side, checking an arch in front of her body in order to make sure she wasn't about to trip. Oh boy that smelled vile. Despite that, she couldn't deny the rumblin in her tummy, demanding the cleanest, least rotten-y part of that smelly.. whatever. Though at this point she was beginning to think it was a skunk that had rolled in some for of manure and proceeded to die after a round of fisticuffs with a garbage can. It really smelled. And it only got worse...! Female paused in a safe spot, lifting her head and circling it around. Judging by the fact she was practically basking in this smell.. she had to be close. Once more head swayed side to side, trying to guess which way the unfortuneate creature had met its end. Oh god this was going to make her breath smell. Maybe this was just a bad idea. Cautious paws took step after step in a selected direction, then backed up, taking a few more.. ok nope. She couldn't tell where it was coming from. Faint whine wiggled its way from deep within her throat, blind female having a decision to make. Eventually she settled upon a way.. one that had taken her slightly to the right of her attempted vile smelling dinner.. that was still alive.
Holster. A breeze of wind allowed the mutt to inhale softly without being discovered. Muzzle was pressed onto the ground and eyes void of color pinned on their target. Muse sent an electric jolt right up his spinal column. Excitement oozed from his solid frame. Judging by the sound and smell of sweetness: it was a female. Ohooho! Great! Just his luck. He tried his best not to whimper in delight for this chaotic creature sought entertainment daily. Of course it was all an examination... the legends of 'The Crew' were higher than the queen could swim. To be fair he thought she would drown day one, but surprisingly she had her head above water. ALAS! She was lucky he no longer thought this rumor of greatness was a lie- for he had been face-to-face with the legends himself. As the days passed, Holster scented the growth. Ah well, let us see if Mrs. Granddaughter can handle herself. FOR NOW! He was quite busy. Silence was not a common trait (just ask anyone who has encountered him). Nor was it to be a part of his present personality. The strings of the puppet was quickly pulled by the master and his persona mingled together caused an awkward unity between the three of his characters. He had barely shut up since he had arrived in this land of rainbows. But, now? He was targeting something and not a peep was released from his foul jowls. Let it be known that Holster wasn't all that he appeared to be. Vaginawolf had gotten that warning loud and clear. This foul scented canine had brought a cancer to this land purposely. Who was going to cure it? Usually, the declaration of peace was not something he valued but he was playing his cards strategically. Finally, the female had appeared before him. Her mistake was getting too close. Gleefully, strengthened muscles pulled him upward as he attempted to throw his bulk forward as he leapt at the female in a fit of chortles. "AHAHHHAHAHA" His mandibles unclasped and he would have attempt to pin the little lass under him. It might be easy because she was so close and blind (something he remembered). If successful. He would have her below him and a sneer would appear upon his façade. "GOOD MORNING." Gross. If not, well. He still was gross and happy looking. Surprise muthafuker.
Aisline. Ugh it was disgusting. This was a terrible idea. Sure she was hungry, but surely leaves or grass would provide more sustenance than whatever this poor rotting creature had once been. Infact, she might get more from the maggots than whatever pile of goo she was going to find! Ugh she hoped she didn't step in it. Head rose as doubts began to plague the little lass' mind, no where near as worried as she should have been. Honestly. She had no idea a deranged psychopath was planning to play peekaboo with a blind lady. Really it wasn't even going to be fun! Everything was black to her and that wasn't even racist. Regardless, she had little of a defense when it came to literally anything. Seriously just look at her. What was she going to do, somehow magically hear an oncoming attack and evade at the last second like some kind of kungfu master? No she was a freaking blind wolf! The second that stench revived itself and proceeded to use her body as tackling practice, she was done. A yelp was the only thing she managed to squeak out before the air was knocked from her lungs upon the force of the impact. Sightless eyes were wide in shock and surprise when she landed beneath a pile of living sewage, causing her to lay limp as a scolded pup. Paws were curled in awkward angles underneath her body, lack of breath inside her lungs allowing for nothing more from the little female other than a few pitifully, wheezy whimpers of distress.
Holster. Although his victim was BLIND (aha) to the sight. Holster's façade was littered in obvious entertainment. Pale and sticky appendage had lolled from his moist cavern as he panted. "Hehehe!" A successful 'peekaboo'! AGAIN. AGAIN! Large paws were pressed into the ground, framing Blindy's skull. There was no escape. Especially as her belly faced his front. It would be easy to throw her around and position her back into submission. If he wanted to jump her again, her major disability would give him the upper hand! OHMAN. What fun! What if he wanted to play again? AND AGAIN? AND AGAIN! Mindset started crafting ideas of one sided fun. I mean, why not release her, let her RUN and then capture her? Gleeful chortles rumbled through his larynx and shivered off his body. That did certainly cure his boredom. His angelboy had scampered off somewhere and told Holster to stay. WELL. HE DID STAY (for two seconds). Muscles were quaking now as he started to laugh openly, those giggles transforming into haughty laughs. The heat of his breath was thrown outward, exposing his less than friendly smell. Silence was not something that came very often... (Unfortunately). This sick prank was super fun! It was more than clear that this outcast was pleased with himself and body language screamed it. Blackened lips had hiked over yellowing fang in a sinister sneer. Sockets were sunken as expressive and charcoal eyes shimmered in sunlight. "Want to play again?" He hummed, slowly letting his skull sink to her ear as he whispered.
Aisline. Oh this was not fun in the slightest! Despite smelly above her seeming to think this was just a load of monkeys all holding hands and jerking each other off, she was no pleased in the slightest! Poor little lass was quivering in fear beneath the mound of flesh and filth, still attempting to catch her breath. It was hard, of course, seeing as each breath brought with it a new mouthful of thick garbage to make it even harder to breath the right way. Whimpers began to increase in volume, changing from a pathetic wheeze of a noise to one that actually had a bit of just plain pathetic to it. Paws remained curled against her belly, offering a scant amount of protest should he decide that simply tackling on her wasn't enough. She was all soft bellies and squishiness. Blind eyes were cast this way and that, taking in nothing but darkness and offering no alternative means of any sort of anything resembling escape. When the offer of a renewed game crossed her ears, she turned from terror to mild confusion, ceasing those faint whimpers as she sniffed in his general direction. "Play.. again?" voice was a faint whisper, no doubt due to the lack of proper air inside of her lungs. It would help if she wasn't being crowded by a big ol hunk of rotting flesh-- er smelly wolf-- er.. well. Whatever he was. She wasn't sure at this point. She was still going on with the whole skunk thing. He certainly smelled like it!
Syledia. Bitch had been out marking her land, yet again.. Syl was getting rather annoyed with the walking rotting corpse. His scent was everywhere. Ugh. With a snort his scent caught her snout yet again, only this time it was fresh. What trouble was he getting into now? Golden eyes spotted the mangy mutt not too far away and with a grunt the Queen found herself approaching, she had intended to talk to him after all. But what is this? "My my, aren’t we extra creepy today?" voice void of any emotion as she approached the duo. Tail raised high in a show of dominance; Syl was getting tired of him not taking her seriously.
Allune was a strange bitch. It was as simple as that at the end of any day, her mind was quick and she was very observant in truth. But that was leaving out all the rest of her various character quirks, such as the squirrel she had chased for a good hour before realizing it'd disappeared forty five minutes prior to her noticing it had. Crimson eyes scanned around in an almost bored fashion as she sought something to keep her entertained, ever since pack after pack had fell through- mate after mate had proven both boring and absent she'd decided to just stay a drifter through all the paths and lands she found. Exploration at the very least calmed the fury of her blood, at least most of the time it did. The long former scout of too many packs couldn't remember a time when she felt at ease. There was no home for her, No family. As far as she was concerned they'd become no more than ashes among these urine soaked trees.Though why the fuck did they smell that bad? Even territorial markings didn't usually carry ode to desperation and rotting fish! Her face scrunches up in disappointment and near childish fury. If she didn't know better she'd suspect some undead abomination had taken up to challenging the nearly as strong scent of a pack, she wondered if she would be lucky enough to spot some conflict. It had been a very slow day thus far after all, She pauses a bit away and notices around three others- one a female being pinned by- SWEET MARY MOTHER OF ALL THAT IS HOLY! IS THAT A FUCKING GREMLIN!? Some Undead ABOMINATION? Or does it not know how to bathe? Who is she to judge. This isn't her lands. She raises a brow at the dominant stance of the other female, something tickles the back of her mind. Fucking weird, "What the shit.." she shrugs and continues simply watching from her distance.
Holster. Disturbingly, he chuckled as the lass squirmed underneath his fortress of overpowering debris. Pale tongue slowly hung over his canine and drizzled a line of saliva as he panted. She wouldn't see that 'look' in his grotesque eyes, for the examination was more than intimate. The drip of stench would fall upon Blindy's frame and right onto her neck, therefore coating her with his scent. His whispering breath had evident ill-intent as it was only directed to her and only her. Would you like to play? Heh, she didn't know herself! That response wasn't what he was looking for. It was clear the way his voice had lowered and his insanity peaked. Holster was unpredictable. Was he really just having fun? Or was this something much more sinister. Slowly, those colourless eyes roamed over her terrified ones. Her babyblues were twitching every which way. What was it like to see in darkness? He almost wanted to find out! The scent of fear caused his stomach to rumble. Poor thing! Just kidding. It only added to his fun. Her lithe little figure was being jailed and kept in containment by his solid legs. Her cream hued pelt mingled nicely in the dirt. She was quite the attractive one wasn't she? He pulled his skull upward and continued his creepy examination. He has all the control here, and he intended to use it. Like four pillars, they framed her easily as his size was intimidating and his skillset of assassination was not a toy. Cunning black voids peered at her misdirected eyesight. Holster wasn't opposed to taking advantage of others. No one was to know if what he was plotting was playful or damaging- or both! The switch of personalities made him difficult to read. The appearance of the queen didn't even move him. Holster did not respect her and doubted her abilities to take him down. Skull however did move to look at the other. Ah, triangles. "Could you please EXCUSE us? You are being rude!" He sneered. "Unless you'll play with me..." It was then he walked off the victim. He could catch her ANYDAY. A challenge was something he craved! But, coming closer to the weirded out one. He was realizing none of these females had it in them. SIGH. Guess playtime would have to wait. "You can have her. She didn't wanna play anyway." He pouted, that disgusting grin leaving his visage. Another switch.
Aisline. Unpredictable insanity was not somethign she was well versed in. Infact, interaction at all wasn't something she had been versed in. As one could expect, she had been chased from her pack the second her failing eyesight had become anything but useful, and since then her only form of companionship was a flower she'd raised from a seed. And that was quite a ways up the river yet. Female ducked her head, flinching violently at the feeling of wetness weaving its way through her fur and forming a sticky path along the side of her neck. Impulsive shudder started at the base of her spine and moved all the way down to her tailbone, leaving the blind female a simple, confused, quivering little thing beneath him. At that moment she should have been grateful for the lack of eyesight, because there was certainly something she would not care to see hovering above her. She was blissfully ignorant to the impure thoughts and looks cast from the crazed stud above her. This time there were no Aisline. words of any sort from the female's lips. She was aware of the words he spoke, unable to see to what he referred. Even as she was "released", blind female didn't move a muscle. The ol possum trick of remaining still until she was forgotten would surely work in this situation. Not to mention she wans't sure if the addition of bodies to a situation like this would work in her favor.
-skipped Syledia--
Allune eagerly watched for a reaction from what seemed to be an important fucker. Her ears twitching rapidly in an almost whelpish manner, if her parents were still around she wondered if they'd have scolded her for standing by as some strange female was being plagued by a brute that smelt like rotting flesh. Ooh that was a better description! She giggled to herself and hopped a bit on the spot, shaking her tail in an almost dorkish fashion. Sitting for a moment to scratch at her ear with her hing leg, stretching out for a long moment. "Did the stench kill her? Or did your beautiful eyes blind her with such passion that you decided she was too boring Ser?" she half joked, she was in fact suspecting that the weirdo was having his way with a corpse and that was why he smelt so darned bad. Is that why this... What about those half markings was striking her heart so cold? Really fucking weird. Not right. Different, Not right! She shakes her head to rid the image but the bitch remains.She gives her a confused look, "Don't i know you? You got any ancient ass family from around here? Ma'm hailed from some lovely pack of insane, exciting hell-hound sorts. Crazy at the root, right from the top!" she grinned, in an almost unhinged fashion before letting out a long string of giggles. Red eyes rolling from target to target, "Though you look most impressive. Something about you screams mad bastard. Or poor hygiene. I can't tell anymore. We're all mad bastards inside."
Darais could have sworn he left Hol alone for only FIVE MINUTES. The rumble in his tummy was suggesting he needed to hunt, and possibly try to feed that insane wolf too. Yet, he could not focus on hunting. Every time he got silent, into the 'zone', his brain would nag at him. Immature? Yes. Yet he was observant, and he knew, to some extent, Hol was a danger... Nag. Nag. Nag. With a snort, he gave up his hunting expedition and trotted back to where he left Hol. Which, OF COURSE, he was not there. Earthly triangles pinned against his skull in frustration. Well, this should not be too hard. Just follow the smell! Yeah, he could make this into a game! Let us see how long he could follow the scent until he vomited. Favourite game! Patience was thin today, and the already unbalanced behaviour was having trouble staying positive and playful. Taking care of a blind puppy had been easier than trying to figure out Hol's 'mood changes'. However, if it was so bad, why did he keep sticking around? Lonely heart thumped quickly as he ran. Beautifully groomed coat shimmered in sparse sunlight. Hickory stained auds would perk forward as he grew closer to the wretched stink, picking up on a few new voices. Brilliant emeralds would take only a moment to soak in the scene. Lids narrowed slightly, and his lips visibly twitched. It took all of his control not to immediately accuse Hol of something, which in his mind, was unspeakable! Another snort left his lips, and he ignored the two crazies to do whatever crazy does. He forced more weight on his paws, making each step louder as he approached the possum position lady. Memory flashed of seeing her before, and a visible flinch could be seen. Didn't he tell her he would help her? Taking care of Hol and his own issues had pulled him from her. Guilt laced around his heart again, anxiety spiking with everything throb. No, no, no. Can't be selfish now. Can't let emotions rule. He stopped a respectable distance from her, ''Hey, it is you again.'' He murred out in the softest voice he could muster. His tail had dropped completely, the tip flicking at the tall blades of grass. Even if she couldn't see, his smile was hopefully heard through his tone.
Holster. Her strategy had worked. That silence was enough to allow distraction to infiltrate his current plot. To possum her demise was a tactic that played well with Holster because of the way his switches worked. With a few more diversions. He snorted causing the snot to fly from his nostrils. NO FUN, now that these assholes had dimpled the playing field...she was pretty much forgotten anyway. Too bad! He was just having SO MUCH FUN. It was unfortunate and sad. Why didn't anyone like his fun? PSH, he wasn't going to hurt her! HONEST. His feelings were being attacked as he felt sorry for himself. Or, he was mostly sad because he was sure Mrs. Blind was having fun too~! My! The scent of her fear just confirmed it. Holster adored the way his heated blood scorned and why wouldn't she? He loved the way it simmered in his bladder, and how fear made him giggle like some sort of school chick. Words caused him to move his skull towards the sound. Attention had been now split onto multiple sources. Should he focus on Queen? Or should he focus on lady thing? It wasn't hard to divert Holster's mind, and luckily for the terrified lass; devotion of ill-intent was now zoned onto other areas. LADY THING. The switches were random as he chose to focus on whatever was more interesting at the time, and that happened to be the band of females. Ladything exposed her approval and he was JUST TOO SAD to listen. He sighed. "No no no no, all wrong ALL WRONG." The appearance of the true Holster was enough! His sweety angelboy! BUT he was too sad to even say anything!! He was being BULLIED. Him, the real victim. A glance was all that was needed to see his distress. His depression! "OH WOEST ME. ANGelboY." He chirped. "THEY ALL HATE ME. WAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaa" and thus, he ran away... his legs trotting right passed his keeper and straight into the woodland.
//HOLSTER EXITS//
Aisline was a possum short and stout, here were her possum paws here was her snout-- Poor little girl. She had no idea what was happening. Eventually the shivers had ceased, instead leaving her a slightly curled mass. Ever so slowly she'd attempted to "relax", tilting those legs down towards her belly before slowly rolling onto her side. Back would have been facing the crazed beast and his newly budded companions, not wishing to draw attention to herself in the slightest. Already cream and grey pelt was a mix of browns, making her practically one in the same sort of colour. From side she switched to her belly, well-practiced in the art of belly crawling awa-- OH JEEZ WHAT WAS THAT?! Despite the rather considerate large foot fall padding towards her, Ai was still entirely surprised at the voice that spoke too close to her back to be anything but close. From her belly she suddenly launched to her paws, causing a misstep of epic clumsiness that sent her on her ass once more. Female once again took a pose of submission, pressing her stomach as flat to the ground as it could get and dipping her head flush with the rest of her body. Ears were pinned against her skull, dark grey triangles against the otherwise brown of her body. Sightless eyes had squeezed themselves shut, as if offering some sort of protection from the beast in front of her. No words were given by the terrified female, still not able to trust her voice, especially not with the prancing of paws that ran right beside her. As the stench passed she pushed herself up in an attempt to skitter away, instead finding her body pressed against the most conveniently placed log that there could have been.
Syledia. Eyes narrowed as she approached the scene, another appeared and for a moment Syl was slightly disappointed. Syl had been meaning to talk to the mangy creature for many days now. His assassin like demeanour intrigued the young queen. It had certainly not gone unnoticed by the black bitch. Syl had heard stories of the colossal king and his assassins; the idea not only excited but frightened her at the same time. Eyes widened as Hol's attention was pulled from one to the other, he seemed to be struggling. Unstable was for sure, but didn't that make the best assassin. Never being able to predict the motives of the masks worn. After some time of standing there, watching and taking in what was happening Syl noticed as the cream wolf that bitched at her before had joined the group. Black bitch had been thinking about the brutes words since their last encounter, she did not want to appear to be the frightening rude king her great grandfather was, but she wanted respect. It seemed it was hard to achieve respect from the misfits who were used to the power of Nakisai. Golden eyes with the half triangles of her great grandfather were but a glow as she locked her eyes on Hol as he ran away "Ill play." the queen muttered, hopefully loud enough for him to hear. Syl figured it was time to take a different approach to the rotten wolf who lacked respect in her.
Allune watched as the fun one ran away. And as if by magic the smell began to waft away with the strange mad bastard, her ears droop in a display of disappointment and she lets out a ratty sigh before rolling around in the dirt cheerfully with a giggle, "All that bullshit about wanting to play and he goes and runs away when i crack the whip. Now that's a brute i could do without too." her eyes flicker onto Syledia for a moment of curious assessment before scanning to the frightened cream one, the struggle to move around and the slamming into the log had Allune frown deeply. Her trickster gait pushing away for a moment of clarity, "He really did blind you? Or was he just taking advantage of you?" she calls to her in a bark of concern before looking at the ... IT WAS A CRIME TO BE THAT PRETTY AND A BRUTE. Her red eyes soften and she dips forward playfully, "Do you wanna play pretty boy? You look a lot more fun! How do YOU smell?" she snorts and nods her head, her tail wagging as if under some kind of demonic spell. Wouldn't that just be quirky? If she could control it like her siblings with their weird fucking tails. The envy begins to bite at her brain so she begins to chew on the dirt in response, Damned stupid genes. Why'd she draw the blank of her fathers genealogy and end up looking like such a basic Bitch, "This place reeks of a pack. Do you have a stiff bitch as well as that mad bastard? Who balances that thing out?" before then going back to playfully wagging her tail and shaking in Darais' direction.
Darais blinked a little as he craned his head back to watch Hol throw a fit. Brows knitted in pure confusion. Nothing could bully that beast, he played the fool, but he didn't fool this one. Yet some pity tugged at his too big of a heart. Soft sigh left those leathery chaps. This was exhausting. It was no wonder his default was naïve and child like, it was much easier! Saner even. Tittering on the edge still; he needed balance. With Hol running off just as the 'queen' got there. He wanted to snap back to his childish ways. Yet the blind one that had been still for so long, suddenly went scampering in every which direction. Rump fell against the ground as he backed away too quickly. Orbs wide as he watched the display. After a moment, he took a deep breath. Hol could take care of himself for a few more minutes. Maybe he will get him another rabbit as a treat for ignoring him. No, wait! Hol was probably the reason this creature was freaking out. Don't reward him for that! But he's probably still hungry... Lip was bit for a second, silencing the battle with right and wrong. This one needed more help, at the moment. Clearing his throat softly, ''I'm sorry. I didn't mean to frighten you miss...'' He attempted his soft spoken words again. ''It's okay. I just want to talk. Are you okay?'' He tried again. Was she a mute too? Lord have mercy. Attention snapped to the new lady he had not met before. 'Pretty boy?' Was he that different from the other males? A friendly smile arose. ''I do like to play.'' Seemed he had ignored her until she mentioned playing. However, as her attitude became clear, his interest quickly faded. She was a rude one too. He smelled of lavender and sweet grass. His beauty was due to constant grooming and of course, amazing breeding. Yet he had never really been called out on his looks, not until meeting these strange wolves. A glance to the blind one, seeing if she would respond at all. Then attention dragged back to the chattering one. ''I do not belong to a pack.'' He stated, his tone dropping its stiffness and fading into some sadness. Cannot break now. Not safe. A slight tremble, have to be strong for the blind lady. A slight glare was shot her way, ''That 'thing' is Holster. He's my friend.'' He stated, and proudly it seemed. Okay, sure he was insane... and sure Dar didn't trust him with his belly yet... And yeah he might have been attempting to rape a blind wolf.... but maybe it was all just misunderstandings! More time was needed. An attempt at fixing his own attitude and keeping the conversation hospitable. ''Holster's mate? I do not think he has one... Though many assume I am his.'' He shrugged slightly, not really encouraging or discouraging the rumour.
Aisline. Poor little lady was far too over stimulated right now. Her ears were pinned tightly to her ears, allowing a dull echo of what was going around her to reach her. The stench had begun to fade from her nose, and she wasn't entirely sure if it was a trick or not. Blind eyes were still squeezed shut, not knowing which way was up or down. Eventually she sagged and relaxed, tiredness and weariness creeping into her body until she could do nothing but lay there. When the voice came near she lifted her head warily, tensing her frame but remaining still otherwise. Slowly the tension began to fade from her as those words floated across her like some kind of water over a stream. Calming water, mind you. Slowly she licked her lips and offered a bit of a nod in response to his question. Theoretically he would have sight, unlike her, and be able to see the faint shake of her head. "Yes.." she responded quietly, voice still hoarse from the great stench having knocked her over just moments before. Aisline took a moment, checking over herself. Remarkably, nothing felt like it was too wounded. Sure she was sore and everything kind of hurt but.. Female slowly lowered herself to the ground, pressing her belly close and making herself as small as possible against the log. This was clearly a busy place. A well scented place. She wasn't sure how she had missed it before, perhaps she'd been too distracted, but now it was more than obvious that this wasn't a place that a blind wolf belonged. Already she'd been taken advantage of once, and it would be far too easy for kind words to turn into sharp fangs.
Syledia. Fire danced upon the lady's head and down her shoulders, she lacked the full triangle that so many have pointed out to her that was evident of Nakisai's kin. Eyes glanced to the white wolf who curiously enough had his same green marks. A relation she had not met yet? As a question of the pack arose Syl listened as the cream wolf spoke of being a lone wolf, and a friend of the other now known as Holster. Noted. Though as the one names Holster continued to flee Syl turned her attention to the white wolf who seemed to ask of packs. "I am Syledia, leader of the pack that resides not far from here. I am the great granddaughter of the pack leader of The Crew." Pride was evident on the queens face as she approached. Syl looked to the golden female and noticed her relax only a little. Poor thing must be petrified. "We mean you no threat little one. The oth-" Syl caught her words short and glanced at the cream wolf, giving him almost a look of apology. "Holster... seems to have taken off" lady continued her voice proud and gentle as she spoke. Syl had taken his 'advice' and decided to try and learn from it. "Who are you?" question directed at any who would answer, it seemed she didn’t know any of them. Thoughts went to Kari and she wondered where she’d been gone to the past few days.
Allune offered an off grin, her eyes flitting about as her interest waned slightly, her eyes narrowing as she sniffed closer again. "Stiff Bitch does live here. Nope. Boring.." she grumbles irritably to herself, if she were boring than Stiff was thrice as boring. What wolf was just plan grays nowadays? especially with such a mossy green tinge, and golden eyes were bloody overrated, "hm? Oh yeah. Allune, Daughter of Orphic and Narcotized. One of the normal looking ones unfortunately." she swishes her tail for a moment, "Stiffy must be around. Still smells like boredom and loneliness too." she giggles to herself as she thinks- that old bat must be getting on by now. How was she not dead? Stubborn wolves last far too long she supposes, "I'm not here." she grumbles and moves to lay on the other side of the log. Scratching at the ground before rolling around to try and amuse herself, "...The Crew? They're all still kicking... Course Stiffy is still here. Bound by her code." she snorts.
Darais eyed up the distraught lady. She did not seem fine, but who was he to tell someone else their state? A concern look washed over his face as he let his gaze linger just a little longer. Would his pup of ended up like her, had it reached adult hood? A female too... To be taken advantage of. Disgust rolled in his gut, and the already agitated mood he felt towards Holster got twice as worse. Mind raced. No, he couldn't betray their odd friendship. It would put too many at risk. He already detoured that crazed assassin from attacking a number of this pack already. Though why he even bothered, was a mystery in itself. Perhaps he was just too kind hearted. ''Who is Stiffy?'' He questioned, his own curiosity rising. She was only spared a glance however, as Syl became more forward with her approach. A greeting bow of his head was offered. That was a step! Seemed he approved of her direct method. Her interest in the blind one was warming as well. Maybe 'The Crew', as he just learned, wasn't all heartless and cold. Warmth spread across his muzzle as he beamed a smile. ''You gotta play a game with me, to learn my name.'' He stated to Syl, though looked to the other two females as well. Invitation open! He'd slow lower his frame to rest his belly and chest against the ground. Being eye levelled with the blind one. ''Can I know your name right away? Miss seems strange... Unless your name is Missy! I like that name." He started some of his rambling. Seems with the threat of Hol gone, he could relax a bit more. ''Oooh, or do I have to play a game to know your name too!? We could play..." he trailed as many thoughts that came to mind required eye sight. How the hell was she still alive? How'd she not starve to death?! ''who can howl the loudest!" There's a game!
Aisline. Belly was a twisted knot of pain, wrapping around itself and aching. Between hunger and fear.. she was a mess of fading adrenaline. She swallowed slowly as she heard conversation flickering around her seemed to leave her behind. Which she was more than fine with. She sucked in a breath when it was focused back on her, feeling her nose twitching slowly. The one who'd spoken.. he was doing something. The shift of air had her raising her head, lips parting for a moment. Oh. He was on the ground with her. The tight squint of her eye had been gently released, allowing her to slowly open them. Granted it offered her no vision, but it felt far more natural to keep those sightless eyes open. "..My name?" she repeated softly, tilting her head in reply. "Why would you play a game for a name?" a slight bit of hesitance was obvious within her lips. After all. The one who he'd said had just left.. well. He had wanted to play a game as well, hadn't he? And she had been none too happy to play that. Slowly she placed her head back on her paws, looking.. well. Even bashful for a moment. "Aisline. My name is Aisline." she eventually said. The female didn't ask for the other's in response, not used to the equality of treatment that she was sort of receiving. After all. Her last pack had been none too happy to have her failing eye sight amongst them. The second she hadn't been able to join the hunt, she'd been hunted herself.
Syledia. Young queen received a look of approval and a nod of respect from the wolf who seemed to be rather vocal to her upon their last meeting. Maybe shed done something to impress the beast, who knew. He seemed to want to play a game, what was it about some of the lone wolves around here and games. Syl was not used to games, none of The Crew were used to games if memory was correct. They were about war, fear, and being the best. Names were offered and a polite "Nice to meet you Allune." Syl hadnt heard what the golden girl and the cream male were whispering, but she was intrigued none the less. "What kind of a ga-" words were cut short when he mentioned a game of howling. A smirk formed at her lips before she agreed to the game by being the first to crane her head back and let out a loud and graceful howl. Just as she finished the scent of her trusted Kari hit her nostrils and eyes began searching for the pretty lady.
Allune rolled her eyes with a snorting giggle, the lady quickly having gotten tired of their company, "Farewell! I will return.. Maybe" she heckles for a moment before something clicks in her brain and she offers a polite bow before beginning to scatter away from the lug, "I ain't dealing with Stiffy Justi! I'm too old now for her chastisement!" and with a roar of laughter went bounding off into the near distance, she'd spotted a waterfall not long ago and it seemed as good an excuse for a bath to banish the sight of that mad bastard from her memory for a good long while. (God she hoped he didn't live around here.)
//ALLUNE EXITS//
Darais stayed still enough not to cause her any alarm, but his tail kept wagging slowly in the grass. A way to show he was still there, as anyone could hear it swishing across the cool blades. Auds perked up as she spoke, pinning on her and giving her undivided attention for that moment. Normally he would 'lie', or at least tell a different version of the truth when asked that question. He froze for a second, thinking on the other two wolves there, and then figured the blind one needed more honesty from him than anything else did. ''I play a game for a name, so I can see what kind of character the other has.'' He told her bluntly. A normal response would have just been, 'cause it's fun!', which was true too, but not the reason. Lips curled up gently as he remembered a game with a rather weird creature. He had convinced her to get him an apple in order to know his name. He loved apples! This other time, he made this lady go on a treasure hunt. That was fun too! Another time almost went horribly wrong. He was playing a game to see who could hold their breath longer. Stubborn lady almost passed out and drowned just to beat him! Hm... Seems he met a lot more females than males. ''Aisline?'' He repeated it carefully, trying to get it right and memorize it as fast as he could. He continual said it about five more times in his head as he stared at her face. ''That's a pretty name.'' He murred out joyfully, and innocently. As Syl howled her little song, a smirk played across his lips. ''See what I mean?'' He whispered to Ais. ''It suggests to me she acts before thinking, and likes to win.'' He said, with no ill intent behind his words. He was just speaking honestly. He then threw his own head back and started howling as well. Only his was deeper, much deeper, and near heart breaking as it wavered in the wind.
Justicar was in control of her own machinations. She wasn't struggling to comprehend her surroundings or the events of barely a day ago. How long had it been? She'd been too concerned to sleep last night, she'd not returned to the den in the end out of fear that the assassin in the fool's clothing would follow her back and finally lay siege to her dearest Queen. Days of the bare minimum of rest, and of eating barely anything when she should have. She could have taken food brought back for everyone but she still insisted on not taking anything from the rest of them, and claimed she'd hunt for food herself to keep useful. But she'd not went hunting at all, shadows haunting her exhausted mind as she saw those around her that had died many years ago. Their forms alight and screaming as the flesh was scorched away by flames, the screeching of the vultures driving pressure deep into her mind. Moving towards familiar scents after finally making some progress in her paranoia she moved quickly, tripping up a few times over uncoordinated steps. She missed Syledia, her voice was something of a security and it made her feel right in her actions. It kept her code alive in her and stopped her from dropping straight into the insanity that waited just beyond this thin line, she's been pushing it but the idea of the nightmares has put her off resting to the point of self-destruction. Ears twitching idly as she picked out minor sounds, the scent of that junk wolf had been around- but it seemed that Holster had moved on before she'd had a chance to engage him at all.
Justicar was smart enough not to challenge him on her own but it didn't mean she liked that he'd snuck into the territory whilst she was trying to keep him from finding the path back to the den. The howls of the dead mingled in her mind, she shook away the phantoms lingering around her when the sounds of her love- no... Not love. Kari isn't good enough for that. Her Queen, howling out into the open and for a moment fear strikes Kari in her vulnerable moment. The follow up of a heartbroken Darais is enough to spur her into an all-out reckless dash towards the noise, the almost broken look in her eyes and the haunted expression on her face enforces her as she pounds onward. The scents mingling in her nostrils as she skids to a halt when Darais and some cream wolf enter her sight, her eyes search almost greedily for Syledia and for a moment a heartbroken pang thumps in her chest heavy like should follow someone dying. But... there she is, as Kari pants from exertion and feels her head coming down from its over-drive like a total crash. Her massive form slumps down low, as if the wires have been cut from her shoulders and she can't support herself. Closing her eyes for a moment before trying to cover up her reaction; to hide her suffering with a soft smile as always. Letting out a soft broken howl to try and join. Well whatever this was.
Aisline. Gentle blind lady smiled, listening with care and attentiveness to the one infront of him as he explained this and that, making far more sense than she would have ever thought possible. Nose twitched softly, softly taking in the scents that flowed from his body. It was.. unique, the way he smelled. Quite a bit of fresh air, from the way his.. well. She didn't know the relationship between the missing assaulter and the kind male, but they certainly didn't smell similar at all. One was rotting maggots, the other was a fresh breeze. It reminded her so much of the flower she'd nursed from just a lil sproutling, making her feel quite a thick bit of meloncholy about the entire thing. A pang went through her at the thought, sure that since the water had swept her so far down stream.. her poor flower had no chance. Gentle paws crossed for just a moment before she jumped in surprise at the powerful yowl from behind her. Sure, she'd known the other had been behind her, but to expect Aisline. such a sudden noise?! Wide eyes turned to look towards the femme fatale with the powerful howl, a faint smile on her features. Everyone was getting into it! She felt the overwhelming amount of peer pressure. Luckily, just before she managed to succumb to it all.. well. Welcome player 4! She jumped in surprise, managing to rear herself back and flip over the log in an ungraceful flailing of legs and surprised yips. Syledia. Black bitch watched as the white wolf known as Allune took her leave, curious who she was referring to. Golden optics turned to the unknown male as he howled in return, his slightly louder than her. "You win it seems, care to share that name of yours? " shed ask moments before Kari approached in a hurry collapsing seconds after she arrived. The lady looked as though shed lost weight, was she eating? Syl immediately rushed to her Sentinel's side, worried something was wrong. Snout began nudging the lady "Kari.. Kari, what’s wrong?" Syl asked her voice thick with concern. Kari was Syls first loyal member and seemingly best friend though her great grandmother seemed to be displeased with their friendship.
Darais didn't mean to win, yet emotions were something he could not hide in his howling. It was why he rarely did it. This time was only so the blind lady could join in, which never happened... as 'Kari' seemed to crash the party. He did not mind, but his howl was cut short and he clamped his muzzle shut. Her aura seemed thick with worry and rotting sanity. Gross! Attention was paid to her reaction, knowing eyes scanned every inch of her. Yet they lingered on her face, her eyes... The windows to the soul. Brow hitched slightly, but he said nothing. Assumptions ran through his mind like a ramped plague. Maybe he had more in common with these strange wolves after all. Though he let the queen tend to her... lover? No, no. It wasn't right to assume that. Maybe that's why everyone thought Hol and he were mates as well. They were just friends! Right? One look at Kari's frantic search for her leader threw that thought straight out the den! Ha! Yet nothing was mentioned about it as his new friend went crazy again, like a rabid squirrel! There went the log! He shot straight up, sitting up instead of lazing in the grass that he had been enjoying. Well, at least there was some sanity held today. Leathery chaps were sown shut with dagger like ivories. Must. Not. Laugh. That would be rude! Can't be rude! Clearing his throat instead, he used that same gentle tone he'd been using on her all day. ''It's okay. It is just the queen ladies mate. No need to worry!'' Oops, let that one slip out why dontcha! The creamy brute gave a wag of his body, attempting to sooth her. Yet failing to remember she couldn't see such actions! He stopped his silly wiggling and instead started yipping like a playful pup in order to give the illusion there was peace enough for even a pup to feel safe!
Justicar felt weighed down with her thoughts, exhausted and bereft of proper emotion for a sparse few moments of actually feeling calm and at rest. But she'd not had her eyes shut for more than a moment before the flickering of flame and an anguished howl had startled her back into awareness, the feeling of a nose nudging her and the voice ringing in her ear... had she been given a Valkyrie? this angelic voice, it almost made her understand why Holster was so enamoured with his angel Darais. She knew she needed to respond to Syledia, and to reassure her that she could still be of use to her Queen and to the Crew. Such weakness wouldn't be tolerated and she just knew it would be her end. Just lift up your head Kari, and continue to fake being alright. You got this far didn't you? It's not that much longer, just the rest of your life. The bitch lets out a haggard breath as she forces her head back up from where it had numbly fallen, "I am... wrong- no. no. I'm alright i mean..." she nearly flusters again, almost surely giving herself away. Her tall frame must show so much of her own neglect and she feels almost neglectful that she'd grown so pathetic against the nightmares and the ghosts following her every movement. Her ears twitch for a moment, "J-Just a bit stiff." she reasons openly, with a vulnerable sort of waver to her voice that she usually pushes aside to appear more in control. She has to be good enough for Syledia, she has no chance of ever holding her heart but she can always watch her back until her own death right? What else is a Justicar but a tool for a more righteous and worthy soul? Tiredly she glances at the others; she feels a pang of regret for startling the other female. How could she be so foolish? Why was she always making such dreary mistakes, "queen ladies..." and just like that she stares at Darais in mild shock, her heart swelling with both pride... and disappointment? And that horrid affection that would be the end of her sooner or later. Justicar gives a soft yip of reassurance, she's not sure if it’s meant for her- or Syl or that terrified lady. But even it sounds shaky at best, and she weakly raises her head with nowhere to put it that would support her weakened form, "Dear ... Syledia. I'm sorry I took so long to return..."
Aisline. It surely must have been a burden, the little female realized. She wasn't entirely sure why she was so jumpy. The general nerves? The amount of abuse and adrenaline? She missed her home. She missed the familiarity of it all. She missed feeling powerful, feeling useful. Oh really she should just go. The hunger and unease mixed her stomach into a series of knots that made her weak. Female whined as she squirmed and writhed, attempting to get upright in order to make herself not look quite as foolish. When she did manage to get upright her ears pinned. The yips had her head dipping down, a faint whine escaping from that tiny mouth. Sightless eyes turned to and fro for just a brief moment, unable to do much more than that before she was trying to belly crawl towards the source of the sweet scent. "I'm sorry. I should go." voice was a faint whisper towards the well-groomed male, not caring if she was heard or not. Perhaps if she went unnoticed and snuck off.. well it might be better.
Syledia. Young lady watched as the scene unfolded, chaos seemed to attack Kari's mind, the other two whispering and the cream male still hadn’t offered his name. The golden lady seemed to be alone and frightened, Syl wanted to offer a home, but was The Crew right for the terrified little one? Syl thought it over in her mind for a few moments as she nudged Kari. "Let’s get you home, you need to eat." Syl shoved against Kari's shoulder to encourage her to get to her feet. An icy stare was shot towards the male as he commented on Kari being her mate. Syl did have feelings for the older lady, but she thought she was vigilant in keeping the thoughts to herself. Syl would only show affection when they were alone, which didn’t seem to happen often. "You two are welcome to come to the den for the night for a bite to eat and some shelter." an offer would be made as Syl tried to get Kari to her paws and moving. Oh Kari what are we going to do with ya? Can’t be letting this happen. Seems they needed to have a talk when Kari was better.
Darais had honestly got swept up in all the hubbub, that he forgot to mention his name. Yet once Ais finally calmed down some, he wagged his tail happily again. Yay! All better! Everything was fine, really! You know, there wasn't a queen giving him an ice stare. Or Kari nearly dying. Or a blind wolf feeling lost and useless. Or a crazed psycho out in the woods. NOPE! Everything was peachy! Brows knitted once more, confusion the common display tonight. ''Go where? I like your company!'' He whined at the blind one. He wanted to know her more! Besides, what was she going to do alone? Starve that's what! As Syl offered them a place to stay and eat, he turned to look at her. ''If she wants to go, I will accompany her... Other than that, I should really go find Holster.. Apparently, he was being bullied.'' That tone suggested he didn't believe it one second, yet... If the crazy one believed it, it was true in that one's mind. So gotta tend to that. ''Though, I thank you. That's really kind of you Syledia.'' He murred. He waited to see what the creamy miss would say. ''Don't be mad at poor Justi. She was just dealing with Holster! You know he's a hand full. She does a great job, yep yep!'' He rambled out a plea for Justi's sake. He didn't mind her! After all, she was one he spared Holster's insanity from. Either way, if they joined or split ways. ''and it's Darais. My name is Darais. And might I say, what a lovely howl you have.'' He cooed at her. Nope, he didn't forget! Was just delayed.
Justicar was ashamed of her fears most of the time, but what broke her down into bits was the fact that she was allowing it to show to people who weren't even part of The Crew. They didn't need to know that there was a weakness among them in Kari's exhausted madness, and at this point she was terrified that this madness wasn't actually due to her avoidance of sleeping. That perhaps she'd been holding it back all along and that she was simply a stone’s throw away from becoming the same monster that she'd ran from in her youth. If she'd the strength she could help with the terrified young one like her poor heart was craving, perhaps her incessant softness was her problem. Or was it a blessing? She couldn't even tell anymore! The nudge from Syledia had her once again refocus on her own self. Blinking away her confusion and the weary taint of not sleeping, she hears the words and shoots Darais a warm look. She knows his sacrifice in keeping Holster tethered. There was no other reason for his deciding to be around that mad junk-wolf. She offers a warm, nearly too affectionate look to Syledia and concedes when told to come and eat. A soft murr rumbling from her chest that she can't push away, "Of course..." and at the shove against her shoulder begins to force her form back upwards, it is difficult with the growing stiffness and the strain from her run here. She leans a tad on Syl as she moves forth a bit, her gait is unsure and she feels nearly out of body from how unfamiliar she is feeling in her own skin. She gives a nod to both Darais and the scared one, "It.. It's a pleasure to meet you. And to see you around Darais." and she nods her head, the action causes her head to thrum painfully and she forces it back upright again. Ready to set off with Syledia regardless of anything else.
Aisline. Tiny female was once again trying to make herself as small as she was able. It wasn't hard, all considering. But instead all she was doing was just looking rather foolish! and ignoring half of what was going on. Lips parted softly, attempting to press her belly into the ground. As long as they kept talking to each other then maybe.. she could sneak away without causing any more issues! Smile crawled across her face at the faint bit of melancholy that hit her from that. Well it was nice to be around others when it had lasted. IT made her miss it, even if it was just a bit. Girl was attempting to crawl from between the literally log and hard place, but it certainly wasn't fast business at all! Instead she was turning her attention not once but twice looking between them all. "Oh please.. I don't want to be a burden. I can follow my scent back." she murmured softly, not sure to whom she was talking.
Syledia. Black queen was relieved when Kari slowly but surely staggered to her paws, her larger form resting against her small frame in comparison. Syl refused to show any resistance or trouble in helping her pack mate, her friend. "It’s okay Kari we will talk about it after, but you need to eat." her words soothing yet encouraging. Syl needed Kari to get better. Eyes glanced to the cream male and golden lady. "The offer stands, you’d be no burden. There is enough to eat for a small army; it seems the crew's members like to hunt, plenty to go around." Syl would add before giving a respectful nod to Dar. "It’s a pleasure to meet you Darais; I hope to see you around." Syl would mutter softly before helping Kari get back to the den and inside to eat and rest. Some important matters would need to be discussed in the morning.
//END//
//HOLSTER EXITS//
//ALLUNE EXITS//
