Miatanae had heard the whispers on the wind; The Crew, coming back to lands. Nothing was said if it was like the older times, wreaking havoc among the inhabitants of the woods, or if it was a completely new start, but when summoned he would always call. The male had been waiting several years for the call this time, having basically disappeared from all sight or sound as he took care of a special task set upon him by his alpha. That task wasn't around at the moment, but would no doubt show up soon after he did. Paws hit the ground as he set out at a run, his wings tucked tightly against him to creat the least amount of air resistance, head raised to follow the lightly perfumed air to the source. He slowed to a trot as the scent got stronger, looking around someone to address.
Zalie sleep was something that came and went with the night. Massive frame rose and fell with each breath as she laid there sleeping. Ears dropping down some as tail twitched against side, a small noise off to the side and suddenly eyes were open and alert focusing on..a mouse? Vocals rumbled with a snort she pushed her body up ignoring the cracks and pops glancing around at the sleeping bodies. Lips twitched she moved towards the water to get her fill before returning to relax till something happened that warrented her full attention. Paws dug down into the ground as skull was lowered down and tongue slipped out to lap at the water quieting her thirst till later. Ears twitching listening for anything that would get her distracted.
Dhark caught word of the Crew reforming, he had never been a part of it but he had his ties and reasons to be involved with them. Dark wolf wandered for days following the scent to the meeting place. Shadow peered into the clearing of wolves, smelling them, remembering their scents. Scentless wolf leered at them and slowly made his way closer and closer to the gathering. Anyone looking would have seen him coming in the evening sunlight, the problems with shadows is they are easily seen in the light. He perched himself an a nearby ridge and watched them talk amongst themselves. Black oculars scanned the area, body ready to react to any aggressiveness, as always this wolf was ready to fight, but his calm demeanor belied the thought he would be ready to strike back. [e]
Holster. Once upon a time there lived a dog. A mutt, a filthy, dirty RUNT. Evidence of muscle was apparent as outcast trotted ever so happily. Solid paws pranced through the sea of cool blades. Landscape sighed with a fresh gust of wind. Cartilage tips tweaked atop an arrogant skull. How interesting! Yay, is it fun time? Poor lad was so incredibly bored. SO SO BORED. Jowls clicked, once, twice- mmm.. air. If one was to look, this creature looked to be something out of a dumpster. Toned canine was ragged and flea ridden. Planting his ass on the ground. Hol paused to observe. Sockets were filled with liquid black sphere. Shimmering in the light, the orb shifted over the gaudy scape of tundra. Mucus coated nasal path flared. ONE. TWO. THREE specimens? WOW. Dry tongue lolled from lips as a sneer pulled over yellowed incisors. Look at all the LADIES, how- wait. I think that one is a dude? (c)
Holster..? Oh. Okay... well. We can swing that way too! Who is we? Well. It seemed Holster had a voice inside his head. HORRAH. Enflamed with new vigor male shifted letting his docked tail sway.(d)
Miatanae's padded further into the territory, following a now more familiar smell. The scent of the pack was ever-changing, but it still had a heavy musk of the one and only true ruler of the lands. But one stuck out in particular, one he had not scented in years. "Zalie? So it is true. The calls weren't a lie." his scottish accen't wasn't quite as thick as it used to be, but it still lilted over his words like music. Deep but soft voice rang clear through the area, easily heard by the two approaching and unfamiliar wolves. He sat, wings folded neatly against his sides, his scarred form a seemingly ever present part of the Crew, as was the leader.. Though Naki didn't seem to be present. Ghostly as ever, he would just await his return, as usual. Deep blues peered over the two newcomers, only offering a, "Hello," in their direction.
Zalie twitched her ears, raising her head up from drinking from the water and focused on the approaching figures. Shaking her body roughly she watched them quietly, ears gave little twitch as she let out a low chuckle, "The call came from naki's spawn." she answered simply allowing her butt to hit the ground. Nails scrapped against the ground as she turned her attention to look at the new comers then back onto miat. Tail swayed behind her frame slowly she tilted her head to the side, "Antics is with her granddaughter sleeping." She offered up some information before eyes turned to focus on the two strangers. Ears twitching she settled her gaze onto the..mutt? Watching stranger for a few seconds she turned back to miat. "Most are dead or missing..Bastard disappeared along with my mate and spawn." She said simply voice void of any sadness.. Can't show weakness to unknown figures.
Dhark glared at the congregation of the other wolves. He seemed to go by unnoticed so he climbed down and sat by closer to the group, scoping out the group ahead. He laid down showing himself to be more relaxed than he was, he was always ready to defend himself, especially when it was The Crew involved. His black oculars stared out at the wolves in front of him, he was no more than 10 feet away from the rest of them, just staring at them, a shadow seemingly without form waited. [e]
Holster. So, it would seem the whispers in the night were true. The vile scent of the infamous pack had returned hm? Fein such ignorance canine sat upon the tundra awaiting his time. Silently. The whisper of scent filled his nostrils. Easily. He memorized their patterns. Sure. Alright. One dude? One- black thing... one good looking female and uh, sure. Was this really the right pack? Holster did not know. Nor did he care. For now the hypothesis was food enough to fill his empty belly. Vessel was placed just right - just slight and out of the way. More so this mutt was interested in heeding any buzz-words to continue his quest! Large paw-pad lifted to scratch the irritant at the back of his scruff. Fucking FLEAS. FUCK FUCK. The sound of claw vs flesh was dry and uncleanly.
Miatanae nodded his head, figuring it must have been a Nakisai decendant that had put forth the call. "Ah, another name I haven't heard in ages.." Antics. He hadn't known her well but had respected her at least. "Zalie.. That is what he does. That is who he is. If he didn't disappear once in a while, would he maintain the reputation that he has?" The slightest in movements above his eye suggested a 'brow' movement, at least before he turned to address the two.. strangers. The cleaner looking one first. "I assume you are here because you heard the rumors as well..?" inquiring with the slighteset lip twitch. He hadn't expected those not from the pack to have any interest. Then to look at the.. mangy looking one. " And you?"
Zalie listened to mait's words quietly. Ears twitching as she snorted some, body given a rough shake she closed her eyes partly and licked her lips. "She hasn't aged a bit." She said offhandly. Lips peeled back showing off teeth in a rare display of rage before nothing. Expressions blank as she sat there. "Perhaps, i know once death grips hold of me i will hunt him down and tear him to shreds before searching for my mate." she said with a cheerful tone twitching her tail slowly. "I do not doubt more will come looking to see the legend of the crew for themselves." she let out a low chuckle before she laid down eyes drifting between the two strangers quietly letting miat do the talking as she wrinkled her nose some. Tongue slipping out to lick at her muzzle contently watching [gahh my mind is starting to draw blank shorty shorty post]
Dhark listened in on their conversations. Shadow peeled himself from his roost and moved slightly closer. Learning that the alpha didn’t recall the group, his soul ached slightly, but he remained vigilant. Shadowed beasts called out. “So who then called you all together then?” Dhark looked patiently at each of them, shadowed form not showing any intent, just a relaxed demeanor. [e]
Holster. For the mission was that of a dream - until now. Sockets were blackened and painfully aware of surroundings. Outlined on the surface they dotted with a purposeless conversation. It was not exactly what he was looking for. Not at all. Could it be that the whispers had lied? The buzzfeed was no more? The names of legends slipped and then- ATTENTION! Shifting his skull slightly to the left, those mysterious coals remained lifeless. Sneer pulled over fleshy gums - disgusting and unsightly fangs were painted in thick gunk. A buzz; a hum slithered through tawny strands. Fleas, fucking fleas. Again. A repeat! Muscled leg shifted and begun pushing into his dry flesh. Shapely claws pierced into his mess one would dare call a pelt and began CLAWING the shit out of his own skull. ITCH...ITCH ITCHITCHIIIITCH. The sound elicited a whine from mutt's now stretched façade. (c)`
Holster..A burn zippered through the line of contact and wouldn't you know it! Blood began to puddle on the ends of his infested paw. The aggression of his fanatic caused his vessel as a whole to shake. Frontal paws slammed in the front of emerald vegetation to settle his construction and finally. SLAM. That more than irritated spot had settled. For now. "Aaahhhh." He purred and then he was up. It looked like these were not who he was looking for.(d)
